Sathodi Falls is a block type waterfall approximately 15 m tall, the stream flows into the backwaters of the Kodasalli Dam & then into the Kali River.

The waterfall is formed by Dabbesal, which is the tributary of River Kali. One has to take a small diversion of about 2 km to see the point from where the falls originate. The view is breathtaking and does justice to the name ‘Niagara of Karnataka’.


The coastal town of Ankola is located about  34  kilometres  south  of Karwar in  Uttara  Kannada  district. As one approaches  Ankola  from  Kumta, one cannot  miss  the imposing portal (Mahadwaar)  on  the  left  side  of  the  road. Yes,  this  is  the entrance to the road that leads to the main gate of Shree Lakshminarayana   Mahamaya  Temple, Hanumatta – Ankola. From the Highway itself, one can see the splendour of this magnificent Temple.  



It is a 3 step falls, can climb by the side up to 3 level, any time water, but have to walk 1-2 km upwards. first level is very depth to swim, and dangerous to the downwards, have to take care, other than its beautiful and enjoyable in water.


Yana is a village located in forests of the Uttara Kannada district of Karnataka, India which is known for the unusual rock formations . It is located in the Sahyadri mountain range of the Western Ghats, about 60 kilometres (37 mi) from Karwar port, 40 kilometres (25 mi) from Sirsi, and 31 kilometres (19 mi) from Kumta. The two unique rock outcrops near the village are a tourist attraction and easily approachable by a small trek through 0.5 kilometres (0.31 mi) of thick forests from the nearest road head.
